13 Jan Orange delight
This recipe has so much beta-carotene, it’ll give you x-ray vision! Ok, not really, but it’s super delicious anyhow. It’s a pretty sweet juice so I don’t make it too often, but sometimes you have to treat yourself, and a juice treat is way better for you than candy or cookies. It does have a ton of vitamin A and the pineapple and ginger are excellent for inflammation as well.
Orange delight
Ingredients
- 1/2 pineapple
- 2 oranges peeled
- 3 carrots 4 if they are smaller
- 1/2 sweet potato
- sliver of ginger
- Dash of cinnamon optional
Instructions
- Cut the top and bottom off of the pineapple, then cut off the outside by cutting 4 sides from top to bottom, then cutting the part between each side that still has the skin on it (so it will form an octogon shape). Cut it in half lengthwise, and continue to cut in half until you have thin strips of pineapple.
- Cut the rest of the ingredients so they fit in your juicer and juice 'em up! Garnish with some cinnamon, if you dare...
