23 Mar Superfood Trail Mix
It’s snack time!
Whether you are heading out for a hike, working at the office, or on the road, this snack is the perfect companion. I usually make a big batch and keep it in a jar so I have something easy and healthy to grab if I wait too long between meals. And since I tend to have an irrational fear of starving to death, I carry a small jar of this whenever I leave the house.
But what makes this mix so great?
It’s not only full of healthy fat, protein, antioxidants and many vitamins and minerals such as zinc, magnesium and phosphorus (just to name a few), but it has a good balance of flavors to satisfy all types of cravings. The cashews are creamy, somewhere between savory and sweet and the pepitas are a bit salty and crunchy. Goji berries are a bit sweet and chewy and golden berries are like nature’s sour patch kids (or kinda like a sour raisin).
I seriously eat this by the handfuls. It keeps be energized in the afternoon and it’s also just really tasty.

Superfood Trail Mix
- 2 parts raw Cashews
- 1 part Golden Berries
- 1 part roasted Pumpkin Seeds Pepitas
- 1 part Goji Berries
- Add all ingredients to a jar, shake it up to mix, and enjoy!
